Will U.S. Take Over Where Israel Left Off?

The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) has asked the U.S. Department of Justice to demand the extradition - from Israel - of released terrorist Ahmed Jabara, known as Abu Sukar. Jabara is responsible for the infamous "Refrigerator Bomb" that killed 14 people in Zion Square in Jerusalem in 1975. Israel released him from prison two months ago in a "confidence-building measure" towards Abu Mazen. Among the victims was U.S. citizen Rivka Ben-Yitzchak, and American citizens were wounded in the attack as well. The ZOA demands that Abu Sukar be extradited to the U.S. for prosecution.

After his sudden release from prison, Abu Sukar was appointed as Arafat's special advisor for prisoner affairs - and this week called for the abduction of Israeli citizens to be used as bargaining chips for the release of Arab terrorist prisoners.
