Terrorism Doesn't Stop

Palestinian terrorism, particularly in Israel's southern Mediterranean coast area, shows no sign of stopping. A total of three Kassam rockets were fired at the Negev city of Sderot today, and two people were treated for shock. The first one landed early this morning in a built-up area, followed an hour later by one that hit an open field. Later this afternoon, yet another Kassam rocket was fired at Sderot, landing on an empty school building and causing no casualties.

In addition, a mortar shell was fired at N'vei Dekalim last night, and another one this afternoon; the second one landed on a house, but hurt no one...

Arab gunfire lightly wounded this morning an Israeli soldier participating in a counter-terrorism operation in Jenin. Gun battles continued there this afternoon… An armed IDF vehicle was heavily damaged, though no one was hurt, when it overdrove an explosive device planted in the road near Kibbutz Nachal Oz in the south… Arabs continued their attacks against soldiers in Rafiach on the Israeli-Egyptian border this morning, including fragmentation grenades and gunfire…

Other attacks today included stonings of Israeli vehicles north of Kiryat Arba, a bomb attack against an IDF patrol in northern Gaza, and an anti-tank rocket near the Gush Katif community of Ganei Tal; no injuries were reported.
