Visuly said that Ministers Shalom, Olmert, Livni, Sheetrit, and Ezra must resign because their vote contradicts the Likud Charter, "which obligates you to preserve and maintain: the right of the Jewish Nation to the Land of Israel as an eternal and unshakeable right; the settlement and development of all parts of the Land of Israel; and establishing the State's sovereignty over them." In addition, "You have made a mockery of the Likud Central Committee's decision that 'a Palestinian state will not arise west of the Jordan River.' You have smeared the national identity and essence of the Likud Movement."
Visuly added that they received their present positions under false pretenses: "When you asked us six months ago in dozens of gatherings, appearances, interviews, and letters to vote for you [as Knesset Members], you promised to preserve the Likud's principles. If you would have said that you would vote for a terrible plan like this, you would not have received even a quarter of the votes that you received in the Likud Central Committee."
He wrote that the party's Central Committee will convene two weeks from now, at which time "there is no doubt that it will totally reject this plan of stage-by-stage liquidation of the State of Israel… and then you will be required to come to the proper conclusions."
