Magen David Adom (MDA) provided medical care to 2,360 people across the country over the Yom Kippur fast, including 1,818 people who were evacuated to the hospital.

305 fainted people, either as a result of dehydration or from feeling unwell due to fasting (a 15% increase compared to last year). 129 people were injured and needed first aid due to injuries from cycling or roller skating accidents, or from riding scooters and skateboards. Five of the injured are in moderate condition (a 50% decrease compared to last year). Seventeen people were injured in road accidents, including a 54-year-old pedestrian who was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the village of Hilaf.

Eighteen people were injured in violent incidents that occurred across the country, including one who was moderately injured. MDA teams were also called to transfer 136 women in labor to hospitals, 2 of whom were delivered by MDA teams in Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh. During Yom Kippur, MDA continued to work to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and took 1,595 samples from the Israeli Arab sector.

MDA's blood services provided hospitals in the country with 298 doses of blood and 38 plasma doses for the treatment of coronavirus patients during Yom Kippur (2 doses per patient).

There were two incidents where stones where thrown at MDA ambulances and youths accosted MDA staff in Hadera.
