The body of a teenager who entered a water well near the Har Hemed neighborhood of Kedumim in Samaria was pulled from the water overnight Thursday.

Medical teams who were waiting outside the well pronounced him dead.

From initial reports, it appears that three teenagers who went out for a walk got stuck in the well. Two of them were able to get out of the well on their own and with the assistance of rescue forces who arrived at the scene.

The two teens who were rescued were treated by IDF medical personnel, and were evacuated to the hospital. One is in moderate condition and suffering from hypothermia, and the other is in moderate condition.

MDA paramedic Karin Moskowitz said, "When we arrived, we saw two boys, aged 15, one of whom was suffering from hypothermia and was in moderate condition, and the other in moderate condition. We gave them life-saving medical care that included body warming and medication and urgently evacuated them to hospital. They told us they had remained in the water for a lengthy period of time."
