Residents of Petah Tikva awoke on Monday morning to see red water spraying from a fountain in the city's Donald Trump square.

The square was dedicated to US President Donald Trump, in recognition of his friendship towards Israel.

Near the fountain, the words, "Annexation will cost us in blood," were spray-painted on the ground.

On Sunday evening, actor Dov Navon raised a storm when he published a video clip on social media, in which he warned that annexing parts of Judea and Samaria will cause a wave of terror.

In the video, he acted out a terror attack in a cafe.

The video shows Navon sitting in a cafe and opening a "gift" which Trump - whom he called "the big mouth of America" - had given "his friend in Israel, who actually is kind of an expert in gifts" - Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

The moment the "gift" is opened, it explodes, and the clip ends with the words, "Annexation distances us from peace, [and] harms the two-state solution. The annexation is a gift that will blow up in our faces."

The clip was published by the Geneva Initiative, which calls itself an organization which "works to advance a two-state solution with a permanent agreement between Israel and the Palestinians."

MK Bezalel Smotrich (National Union) responded to the clip by saying, "The left is claiming: Diplomatic processes blow up in our faces in cafes.... Such a performance of self-awareness is [something] we haven't had here in a long, long time."
