Culture Minister Hili Tropper (Blue and White) on Monday morning responded to a News 13 poll which showed his party receiving just nine Knesset seats.

According to the poll, which was published on Sunday, the Likud party would receive 38 Knesset seats.

In an interview with Reshet Bet, Tropper said that he is not concerned by the poll.

"We will be judged by deeds, not by polls," he explained. "We are in the greatest economic crisis we've known, and the poll that bothers me is the one that shows how many Israelis are disturbed by their economic situation."

Regarding the issue of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, Tropper said that his party cannot stop the process.

"According to the coalition agreement, [Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu can advance the issue beginning this week," he said, adding that "he has a majority in the Knesset [in favor of] applying sovereignty."

However, he added that his party would not compromise on influencing the way the process happens.

"[Defense Minister Benny] Gantz (Blue and White) and [Foreign Minister Gabi] Ashkenazi (Blue and White) are managing this issue for us, and the citizens of Israel can be calm and know that people like them are present during the discussions of sovereignty."
