Yesha Council chairman David Elhayani called on Prime Minister Netanyahu to fully apply Israeli sovereignty over the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria and not to give into 'threats' from the left.

"We are in the midst of one of the most crucial weeks for the settlements. This is the week when the decision to apply sovereignty will probably be made. We say to the Prime Minister: do not surrender to Tibi. Don't surrender to Odeh. Don't surrender to Benny Gantz. Don't surrender to Gabi Ashkenazi. Stand behind your commitment to apply sovereignty this week," Elhayani said.

"We also say no to both a freeze and to a Palestinian state. We will use every means at our disposal to ensure that no Palestinian state will arise," he added.

"Mr. Prime Minister, demonstrate courage and leadership in the face of all those who say otherwise., in the face of all the excuses such as the idea that sovereignty might cause harm such as with Jordan, national security, or with international relations. The measure of a real leader would be determined in these days. Do not yield. Declare sovereignty. You have support from the public and you have support in the Knesset. Any decision to apply sovereignty would have broad support. The time has come for actions and not talk," the Yesha Council leader said.

The Yesha Council and supporters are holding a three-day demonstration outside the Prime Minister's Office calling on Netanyahu to apply sovereignty without agreeing to the establishment of a Palestinian state.
