Oslo: Stolen ambulance runs over passers-by

Radical-right couple steals ambulance, runs over bystanders trying to escape; are shot and then arrested by police.

A man stole an ambulance in the city of Oslo, Norway, and during his escape attempt hit several passers-by.

Reports from the Norwegian police revealed that the car thief was armed.

The police started chasing him and after they identified the ambulance opened fire at him.

The suspect was taken to a hospital handcuffed.

Police later stated that two suspects, a man and a woman, were arrested for attempted murder in connection with the ambulance hijacking. The couple are believed to be affiliated with the far-right.
