Israel's daylight saving time will end on Saturday night.

At 2:00a.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019, Israelis will move their clocks one hour back, to 1:00a.m.

This year, daylight saving time lasted 210 days. It will begin again on the night before March 27, 2020.

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri (Shas) said: "The additional hour of sunlight during the long summer months ends this weekend. It has aided the citizens of Israel and it has contributed greatly to the economy and to commerce."

"The winter clock, which will begin this weekend, will end before next Passover."
