Local police 'take care' of 'strange' person near Israeli Embassy in Washington, allowing Embassy to open.

The US Secret Service on Friday closed the street leading to the Israeli Embassy in Washington, calling on its employees not to arrive until further notice.

Israel's Kan news said there is concern of an attack on the Embassy.

Israel's Foreign Ministry has clarified, "Regarding the report of a security event near the Israeli Embassy in Washington: There was a strange individual in the vicinity of the Embassy, and he was taken care of by the local police."

"The Embassy is open."
