An employee at Dortmund Airport, an ardent admirer of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, was excited when she noticed the chancellor's plane as she drove her van on the tarmac.
The woman approached the plane and parked nearby, getting out to take a picture, but forgot to put on the parking brake.
The commercial vehicle then rolled and crashed into Merkel's Global 5000 plane.
As a result of the accident, the plane was grounded for repairs and Merkel was forced to return by helicopter from Dortmund to Berlin.
