Israel's Air Force on Monday morning began practicing for the Memorial Day and Independence Day flyovers.
The flyovers, an annual tradition, take place at sites and cities around Israel.
The IDF emphasized that the practices were planned ahead of time.
Practice flights will take place as follows:
April 29:
9:50 a.m.-11:30 a.m. over the coastal region
2:45 p.m.-3:30 p.m. over Be'er Sheva
April 30:
8:15-9:05 over Be'er Sheva
May 1:
Over the coastal region during the morning hours
May 5:
Over Gal'ed during the morning hours
May 6:
Between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. over the following cities:
Haifa
Ramat David
Gal'ed
Tel Aviv
and the President's Residence in Jerusalem
May 7:
Over Tel Aviv
Over the President's Residence in Jerusalem, during the morning hours
