MK Yehuda Glick (Likud), who lost his wife Yaffi just a year ago, will be standing next Monday under the chuppah with his new love - Hadas Disin, 47, who was also widowed at the age of 30.

"The period of seven to eight months in which I was alone, without Yaffi, was a very difficult time in which I cried a lot," Glick admitted in a conversation with Channel 13 News. "I used to call her, talk to her, share with her. This sense of emptiness, when you have no one to share with, was difficult."

While some have criticized Glick for choosing to remarry only a year after his wife's death, he is certain there is no problem with his choice.

"I actually think that getting remarried quickly is because I had a good relationship with Yaffi," Glick said. Glick's bride-to-be also talked about the time she was alone. "I was dying to meet someone. I had already reached the stage where I said to myself, 'Your life is supposed to be without a partner, without love - and that's it,'" said Disin.

After she was widowed at the age of 30 from her former husband, Disin a year ago founded the Amitizim organization, which supports widows and young orphans.

When she sought to look for support in the Knesset for the organization she founded, it was clear to everyone who she should turn to. "We held a lot of meetings with Knesset members, and all the time they kept telling me, 'Let's meet with Yehuda Glick,'" Disin recalled. "And I said, ‘I do not meet new widowers - what do they know?'"

Glick also recalled the start of the relationship between the two. "During the day we met in formal meetings, and in the evening, we met for a date," he said. "We had to pretend in these formal meetings that we didn’t know each other.”
