The Commanding Officer of the IDF Central Command, Maj. Gen. Nadav Padan, spoke about Thursday’s shooting attack in Givat Assaf, in which two soldiers were murdered and two people were seriously wounded.

“I’d like to first extend my condolences to the families and wish the injured a speedy recovery,” he said.

“The terrorists will have nowhere to hide in Judea and Samaria. The IDF will continue pursuing them. Following the terror attack, we are reinforcing our troops, protecting the roads and the communities and expanding our efforts to thwart terrorism wherever it may be hiding,” continued Padan.

“Over the last few days, a Hamas terror cell was able to hit us and extract a heavy price from us. We will continue pursuing the terrorists in this incident as well, and will bring these terrorists to justice.
