IDF soldier reports weapon stolen in southern Israel

Police searching for four suspects wanted in theft of assault rifle from IDF soldier.

As of Sunday evening, police are searching for four masked suspects who stole a weapon from an IDF solider at the Beit Kama Junction, near the city of Rahat, in southern Israel.

Police set up roadblocks in the Beit Kama vicinity and are working to locate the suspects.

During the search, they found an overturned vehicle, and police checked to whether it had any connection to the weapon-snatching incident.

The police announcement said, “we received a report about a stolen weapon from a soldier at the Beit Kama Junction. Police are searching and investigating the incident.”
