Pistol, bullets, and drugs confiscated during raids in Lod

Police raid two houses in central Israeli city, where they find a pistol, 251 bullets, and a large amount of different drugs.

Israel Police and Border Police, along with detectives and dog units, carried out raids at two different locations in the city of Lod on Tuesday night.

A police spokesman said that at the first spot, while searching a house, police seized a Beretta pistol with two matching cartridges full of bullets. In addition, during the search marijuana seeds weighing about one and a half kilograms were confiscated. One suspect was arrested at the home.

In the second spot, during another search carried out in a private home, various types of substances suspected of being dangerous drugs were seized - heroin weighing about 1 kilogram was seized, as well as crystal meth weighing about 200 grams and cocaine weighing about 100 grams. In addition, 251 9-mm bullets were found in the house, and two suspects were arrested.

It was also reported that the three suspects, in their 20s and 30s, along with the findings, were taken for investigation by Israel Police.
