After an arid winter and hail and thunderstorms on Wednesday, Israelis can expect inclement weather until the weekend - though more hail is not predicted.

On Thursday, local rain will fall in most areas of Israel, and there may be a few thunderstorms. Flooding may occur in the southern and eastern rivers, and temperatures will remain lower than seasonal average.

Thursday night will be partly cloudy, with local rains falling mostly in southern Israel. There may be flooding in southern rivers.

Friday will see local rainfall and there may be a few thunderstorms. Flooding may occur in southern and eastern Israel.

Saturday will be partly cloudy or pleasant, with temperatures rising to seasonal average. There may be local rainfall in northern Israel.

Sunday will be partly cloudy or pleasant, with an additional rise in temperatures.
