Police in Malaysia have released computer-generated images of two men they say are the primary suspects in the killing of an engineer associated with the Hamas terrorist group.

On Saturday, Fadi Mohammad al-Batsh, 35, was killed by two suspects believed to have ties with a foreign intelligence agency in a drive-by shooting on his way to dawn Muslim prayers.

Police Inspector-General Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said Monday that investigators had compiled eyewitness accounts into computer generated images of two suspects authorities believe were behind the assassination.

“We have experts who compiled the photo-fits based on eyewitnesses but we cannot reveal much about those who spoke to us,” Harun told reporters.

The alleged killers are believed to be either Middle Eastern or European.

“The suspects are well-built and approximately 180 centimeters tall with fair complexions,” Harun added.

Police say the suspects rode a BMW GS and Kawasaki Versys motorcycles.

Fourteen bullets were removed from al-Batsh’s body during a post-mortem examination. Investigators have sent the bullets to be analyzed, hoping to learn more about the killers’ identities.
