Arutz Sheva spoke to several survivors who participated in the March of the Living on Holocaust Memorial Day.

“People need to be here and realize what went on here. Physically they have to touch the rails. They have to look at the cattle cars. They have to touch the remains of the crematorium and gas chambers, because it gives them reality,” said survivor Irving Roth.

Georgine Nash welcomed the fact that young men and women take part in the March of the Living in order to hear the stories of the survivors.

“I think that’s great that they want to hear the story, and that’s the reason I’m doing it, because it’s very important for more and more people to hear what happened, because they are in a position to do something about the fact that it should never, ever happen again,” she said.
