The Popular Committee in the northern Arab city of Sakhnin, together with the High Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel and the parties' secretaries adopted a plan of action to support the Gaza "March of Return."

During the Friday riots, rioters hurled stones at Israeli soldiers at two separate demonstrations on the Israeli-Gaza border. Protesters on the northern edge of the Gaza Strip torched an Israeli flag as part of the demonstration.

According to Israel Hayom, Hamas allocated 10,000 liters of gas for use in preparing firebombs to harm IDF soldiers.

Hamas newspaper Alresalah reported that over the weekend, protests were held in Sakhnin in support of the Gaza riots. Joint Arab List MKs, as well as members of the High Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel leadership, participated in the protests.

The report also noted that the Sakhnin protesters flew Palestinian Authority flags and held posters supporting the adherence to PA beliefs, the Gazan "March of Return," and Jerusalem's "Arab character."

The High Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel is planning to hold weekly activities supporting the March of Return, Alresalah added. These activities will continue until May 15.
