On Monday morning, the ViP met PM Netanyahu at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem.

During their meeting, VP Pence said, "It is a great honor for me to be in Jerusalem, Israel's capital city."

PM Netanyahu thanked him for his words, adding that even though hundreds of leaders have visited, "this is the first time" both Netanyahu and his guest "stand here and...say, 'Israel's capital, Jerusalem.'"
