A 22-year-old youth fell this afternoon from a great height in Mitzpe Ramon in the Negev this afternoon, Thursday, apparently as a result of a rock-climbing accident.

Medics who rushed to the scene found the youth without vital signs. They were forced to confirm his death.

MDA medics Nathaniel Dahbash and Shimon Aknin said, “When we arrived at the scene, we saw a man of about 22 who was unconscious at the bottom of a cliff. We got to him by foot with medical equipment from a side path in an attempt to administer medical aid to him.”

“He suffered from serious systemic injuries, and unfortunately showed no vital signs. We were forced to confirm his death.”
