Northern Israel to receive four days of rain

Northern Israel gears up for rainy weekend as southern Israelis prepare for flooding in Judean Desert, Dead Sea.

Thursday's weather will be partly cloudy. By afternoon, local rains will fall from Israel's north to the northern Negev. Temperatures will drop slightly, becoming lower than the seasonal average, especially in the mountains.

Friday will see no change in temperatures, and local rains may fall from Israel's north to the northern Negev. There may be isolated thunderstorms. Rivers in the Judean Desert and Dead Sea area may flood.

Rain may fall on Saturday in Israel's north and along the coast.

Rain is expected to fall in Israel's north on Sunday, with temperatures rising slightly in Israel's center and south.

Earlier this week, heavy rains forced road closures in northern Israel.
