A group of Jewish youths attacked Haaretz reporter Yotam Berger and photographer Olivier Fitoussi at the ruins of Homesh in northern Samaria Tuesday afternoon.

Homesh was a Jewsh town destroyed during the 2005 disengagement.

Berger and the photographer arrived at the site to prepare an article for Haaretz. The youths threw stones at their vehicle as they arrived.

Berger and Fitoussi attempted to drive out of range, but the youths chased them. No one was injured and there was no damage to the vehicle.

The journalists eventually left their car to talk to the youths. They said that the incident was resolved in a cordial manner.

Following the event, Berger told Arutz Sheva that "We, Haaretz photographer Olivier Fitoussi and I, were happy to have met new friends in Homesh. We were happy that they were running slower than we were driving, and we were happy to make peace afterwards."
