MK Yoav Kisch (Likud) on Monday visited the protest tent set up by the leaders of Judea and Samaria and bereaved families outside the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem.

The tent was set up to demand that the necessary budget for security in Judea and Samaria and for the construction of bypass roads in the region be approved.

"I came to the tent tonight after seeing last night's demonstration and rally by thousands who came and spoke about the real problem of security on the roads in Judea and Samaria," Kisch told Yossi Dagan, head of the Shomron Regional Council.

"The necessary budget must be approved, and I will work with all my might to ensure the budgetary source needed to finance the security in the communities is found,” he continued. “This is a mission to which we are all committed and we are here to strengthen you and support your struggle. I hope we can finish this as soon as possible."

Dagan replied, "I want to thank our dear friend Yoav Kisch, who came here late at night after the Knesset discussions. We derive strength from the support of most of the ministers from the Likud, the Jewish Home and Kulanu who have been here. We are strong and determined. We do not have the moral right to give up on the security of half a million residents of Judea and Samaria.”
