Tomorrow, the graduation ceremony of the 49th Land Officers Course will take place in the presence of Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, the Commander of the officers' school, Colonel Gur Shreibman, and other guests.

The 49th Land Officers Course successfully trained 410 cadets, 47 of whom are females. The leading cities in the number of officers this cycle are Jerusalem, Haifa, Petach Tikva, and Rishon Lezion.

51% of the graduates live in cities, 39% live in towns or villages and 10% are kibbutz members. 57% of the graduates are from the center of the country, 28% are from the north and 15% from the south. 21% are the youngest in their family.

63% of the graduates have relatives who were IDF officers; 37% of the graduates served for a year in a pre-military preparatory program or a religious yeshiva, and 65% of the course graduates were active in one of Israel's various youth movements.
