Local rain to fall in northern Israel

Showers and thunderstorms greet Israel on Monday, but may not last throughout the week.

Several areas of Israel may see rain on Monday, following the season's first rains last week.

Monday may see localized rainfall in Israel's north, with a chance of showers along the coastline as well. There may be isolated thunderstorms.

Local rain may fall on Monday afternoon in Israel's north and center. There is a slight chance of flooding in the Jordan Valley streams, the Judean Desert, and the Dead Sea area. Temperatures will be lower than seasonal average.

Monday night will be partly cloudy, with a chance of local rain in Israel's center and in the northern Negev.

Tuesday will be cloudy or clear, with a rise in temperatures.

Wednesday will be pleasant, and humidity is expected to drop. Temperatures will rise to the seasonal average.

Thursday will be pleasant, with temperatures becoming warmer than seasonal average.
