The Land of Israel Lobby in the Knesset joined Israel supporters around the world in being part of the Lev HaOlam project fighting BDS. A letter by the Heads of the Lobby was included in the packages sent to thousands of Israel supporters worldwide. “By purchasing products from Judea and Samaria you are strengthening the State of Israel in its struggle against BDS and contributing to the Zionist project.”

The Land of Israel Lobby in the Knesset, headed by MKs Betzalel Smotrich and Yoav Kish, sent a letter to thousands of Israel supporters around the world. The letter was included in packages with products from Judea and Samaria that are sent out every month through a project organized by the ‘Lev HaOlam’ organization. The project’s goal is to strengthen producers in Judea and Samaria in their battle against the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) movement.

“Thank you for supporting the ‘Lev HaOlam’ organization in its project selling products made by Jewish pioneers in Judea and Samaria. By purchasing these products you are strengthening the State of Israel in its fight against the international boycott and contributing to the Zionist project,” wrote the MKs in their letter.

“Your contribution, aside from providing economic benefit to the communities in Judea and Samaria and Israel as a whole, also makes a clear statement to the world: The State of Israel has a right to exist, will continue to exist, and will continue to grow and flourish throughout the Land of Israel for years to come. As many international actors try to argue against our right to live on this land and weaken our standing, every small act of support and partnership by our international supporters reminds us of the justice of our cause. Thank you from the depths of our hearts for your support and friendship,” they added.

The letter was signed by MKs Smotrich and Kish, who are the heads of the Land of Israel Lobby in the Knesset. Other members of the lobby include MKs from many parties, namely MK Robert Ilitov, MK David Amsalem, MK Nava Boker, MK David Bitan, MK Miki Zohar, MK Oren Hazan, MK Moti Yogev, MK Orly Levi Abecassis, MK Menachem Moses, MK Avraham Nagosa, MK Nissan Slomiansky, MK Hamad Amar, MK Roi Polkman, and MK Nurit Koren.

Aside from the letter, the packages from ‘Lev HaOlam’ includes a bottle of wine from Gush Etzion, chocolate, olive oil, honey, jewelry, and cosmetics from various producers in Judea and Samaria.

In addition to signing the letter, MK Smotrich also participated in stuffing the packages in his office in the Knesset. “Thank you for your support of Israel and for purchasing products from Judea and Samaria through ‘Lev HaOlam.’ Your support is very meaningful and we are very grateful. Shana Tova!” concluded MK Smotrich.

The ‘Lev HaOlam’ Organization was founded in order to support producers in Judea and Samaria in their struggle against the boycott and BDS movement. Every month the organization sends thousands of packages with products from Judea and Samaria to Israel supporters around the world.

Attorney Nati Rom, founder of ‘Lev HaOlam’, thanked the participants and supporters. He stated, “We are very moved to see more and more Israel supporters around the world joining our project. During this 50th jubilee year of the liberation of Judea and Samaria we are happy to partner with the Land of Israel Lobby in the Knesset and we thank them for their support.

Especially now, as we witness opposition to the communities in Gush Etzion by members of the Israeli Judicial System, it is important to take notice of our many supporters around the world whose numbers are growing every year. In honor of the new year and in honor of 50 years since the liberation of Judea and Samaria, I want to bless all of our partners with a healthy and happy new year. May the producers in Judea and Samaria continue to grow this year and may we form new partnerships with supporters both in Israel and abroad.”
