US Ambassador prays for Hurricane Harvey victims at Western Wall

US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman prayed at the Western Wall for those affected by Hurricane Harvey, which struck the state of Texas over the weekend.

"Prayed today at the Western Wall for all of those afflicted by Harvey. May God have mercy upon them and restore their losses. #TexasStrong," Friedman posted on his Twitter account.

Hurricane Harvey has caused massive flooding in parts of Texas and has claimed at least 3 lives.

Dozens of Jewish families in the city of Houston have been evacuated from their homes or forced to stay on the second or upper floor of there houses due to flooding, the Texas Jewish Herald-Voice reported.

More rainfall and flooding is expected in affected areas in the coming days.
