A 23-year-old woman fell and was injured this morning as she rode an electric scooter on Rothschild Boulevard at the corner of Carmia in Tel Aviv. She has been identified as well-known model Shlomit Malka.

MDA teams summoned to the scene evacuated her in critical condition to Ichilov Hospital as she was anesthetized and assisted breathing.

MDA Paramedic Ya'arit Oren said: "When we got to the scene, we saw a young woman of about 23 lying on the side of the road. She lay unconscious, suffering from a head injury and injuries to her extremities, and next to her we saw an electric scooter.

"We gave her life-saving medical treatment, including medication and anesthesia, and we urgently evacuated to the hospital while her condition was defined as critical and unstable."

Meanwhile, two young sisters were killed Sunday night in a car accident in Yafia, in the north.

The accident took place at about 10:30 pm. According to the police, the two traveled on Route 75, which runs through Yafia, toward Nazareth. The police estimate that the driver lost control of the car, and as a result veered onto the sidewalk, smashing the separation barrier and falling from a height of ten meters.

The 16-year-old girl was evacuated to the Emek Medical Center in Afula, but was dead on arrival. The 19-year-old woman was first evacuated to the Anglican hospital in Nazareth and then transferred to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where she was pronounced dead.
