If you want to go somewhere, do it on Thursday

Temperatures rise as the second week of August draws to a close, Thursday sees slight temp drop while other days remain high.

After a relatively cool start to August, Israel's temperatures are set to rise again towards the end of the week.

Wednesday's weather will be partly cloudy or clear, and temperatures will begin to rise again. Temperatures will be warmer than usual in the mountains and inland regions, and muggy along the coast.

Temperatures are expected to be 24-38 degrees Celsius (75.2-100.4 degrees Fahrenheit) in Kiryat Shmona, 21-32 degrees Celsius (69.8-89.6 degrees Fahrenheit) in Tzfat, 25-31 (77-87.8) degrees in Haifa, 26-32 (78.8-89.6) degrees in Tel Aviv, 21-33 (69.8-91.4) degrees in Jerusalem, and 22-35 (71.6-95) degrees in Be'er Sheva.

Thursday will see a slight drop in temperatures, but they will still remain higher than seasonal average.

Friday will see a slight rise in temperatures. Weather will be warmer than usual for the season in Israel's mountainous and inland regions, and muggy along the coast.

Saturday will see no change in temperatures, which will remain above seasonal average.
