IDF Hummer flips, injuring soldiers

Two soldiers injured in Judea after IDF Hummer flips over. Also, second vehicle flips over in Golan during army operation.

An IDF Humvee, the military version of the Hummer jeep, flipped over Sunday afternoon, injuring two soldiers.

The incident occurred on Route 35, near the Jewish town Adora in the southern Hevron Hills in Judea, south of Jerusalem.

Both of the soldiers injured in the accident were evacuated to in light condition. The vehicle was damaged in the incident, and an army spokesperson says the accident will be investigated.

A second incident occurred in the Golan Heights on Sunday, when a civilian vehicle being used by the IDF flipped over during an engineering operation around Mount Hermon.

The driver of the vehicle and a passenger were lightly injured in the accident, and have been evacuated for treatment at a local hospital.
