The British newspaper The Sun on Friday listed 65 people who were still missing and feared dead in the London high-rise fire.

At least 12 people were confirmed to have died when a fire broke out just before 1:00 a.m. Wednesday on the 23rd floor of the 24 story North Kensington apartment building, the Grenfell Tower.

The building was home to some 120 families.

London police commander Stuart Cundy could not say whether the death toll would rise to over 100 Thursday. "I'd like to hope that it isn't going to be triple figures."
