A 6-year-old boy was hit this evening (Tuesday) by a car on Minhat Hinuch Street in Modi'in Illit and was seriously injured.
The MDA team that was called to the scene took care of the child and evacuated him to Tel Hashomer Hospital, where he is being treated for extensive systemic damage.
MDA Paramedic Uri Gavriel, who was summoned to the scene of the accident, said, "When we arrived at the place, we saw a boy of about six lying on the road, vaguely conscious.
"We gave him medical treatment in the field and evacuated him quickly to the hospital, when he is in moderate to severe condition, and he is suffering from a lot of systemic damage," he added.
