The United Nations Office for Project Services posted a job on its website seeking a project manager for its Jerusalem office which declared Jerusalem to be part of the 'State of Palestine.'

The location listed for the job was ‘Jerusalem, Palestine (State of).’

Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon called on Under-Secretary-General Grete Faremo, the UNOPS Executive Director, to remove the job posting from the UNOPS website and to institute immediate reforms at UNOPS.

“It is unacceptable for UN resources to be used for anti-Israel activity and to attempt to change the facts on the ground,” said Ambassador Danon. “UNOPS must conduct a complete overhaul of its operating procedures to ensure that such inappropriate behavior not occur again."
