Last night an event was held in New York in honor of the Ateret Cohanim association in Jerusalem.

The evening was organized by the chairman of Ateret Cohanim in Israel Matti Dan, and Dr. Joe Frager, chairman for the United States.

At the event, Dr. Paul Brody, member of Ateret Cohanim's executive committee, said, "It's very important for every person in the world, certainly the Jewish people, to remember that what is today called the 'Muslim Quarter' in the Old City of Yerushalayim was actually called the 'Kotel Quarter'. And it's our responsibility, and our privilege, for each and every one of us, to join in resettling this quarter of the Old City of Yerushalayim with Jewish people. And that is exactly what Ateret Cohanim sets out to do, besides also settling areas of the shield of Yerushalayim..."
