Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, on Monday afternoon visited the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem together with the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump.

The two met with the medical staff of the hospital, and later visited the hospital playground, where they met some of the sick children.

Netanyahu and Trump brought the children gifts and boxes of toys, and in return received picture albums with a personal dedication and letters written by the children. They also inaugurated a new bench in the hospital playground.

In a private conversation between the two, which was warm and cordial, Netanyahu spoke about the heroism of the Israeli fighters who took part in the counterterrorism Operation Protective Edge.

Netanyahu presented Trump with pictures of IDF soldiers Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul, whose bodies are being held by Hamas, and also gave her a letter from Zehava Shaul, Oron's mother.
