אנשי מילואים חגגו בר מצווה מאוחרת לחברם

An IDF reserve soldier from Battalion 22 who grew up in Kibbutz Mevo Hama and never put on tefillin felt the need to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah this morning.

His fellow reservists bought him a talit (prayer shawl) and gave him a set of tefillin to put on as he read from the Torah portion during the morning prayers. After he had finished the Torah reading the soldiers threw candies at him, as is common at Bar Mitzvahs in Israel.
