MK Oren Hazan (Likud) reiterated his support for far-right French Presidential candidate Marine Le Pen in an interview with Kol Ramahradio Sunday.

"Trump said the United States belongs to the Americans, and so Le Pen also says that France belongs to the French," Hazan said. "This is the way to stop radical Islam, and to stop France from becoming a Palestinian state in Europe, and that is why I support it."

A Member of the French Parliament, Meir Habib, went on the air after Hazan and slammed him for voicing support for Le Pen, the leader of the National Front party. "It is better for Oren Hazan not to deal with things he does not understand," he said.

Habib, who is Jewish, said that "It is forbidden for a Jew to vote for Le Pen. She denies the Holocaust and is against Jewish slaughter, and what happened in Belgium with shechita can also happen in France."

While her father, Jean-Marie Le Pen, the founder and former chairman of the National Front party, has been accused of denying the Holocaust and diminishing its significance, Marine Le Pen has rejected her father's statements regarding World War II and the Holocaust.

Habib also discussed the election notices French Israelis who live in Judea and Samaria received last week, which were addressed to the "Palestinian territories."

Habib criticized the notices for declaring that the residents lived in 'Palestinian land' rather than in Israel. "This is a very serious matter."
