MK Yehuda Glick (Likud) on Sunday morning spoke out against anything which would dissolve the Knesset and force early elections.

"There is no logical reason to hold elections now," Glick said. "I suggest everyone take a deep breath and make logical decisions. Do not make decisions impulsively.

"Logic dictates that the current coalition complete its term, and elections be held only in two and a half more years."

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced on Saturday night that he changed his mind regarding the closure of the Israel Broadcast Authority and the creation of the new Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.

As a result of this announcement, Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu) may or may not decide to pull out of the coalition, a step which would force new elections.
