ILTV’s main news broadcast is now to be available to Israeli viewers on cable television.

METV (Middle East Television) has entered into a syndication agreement with ILTV and will transmit ILTV’S ‘ISRAEL DAILY’ from their studios in Cyprus at 10:00 pm Israel time.

METV is carried on both HOT - Channel 150, and YES - Channel 109. The 30 minute ILTV Newscast produced at ILTV studios in Tel Aviv. METV will air the news at 10 pm Israeli time, 5-nights a week, Sunday – Thursday.

"We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Middle East TV (METV) to bring ILTV programming to the Middle East in general and to Israel in particular," says Jess Dolgin, CEO of J Media Global, the company which produces ILTV. Our ILTV division produces news and programing aimed at providing English speakers around the world with a fresh, honest, and true perspective about Israel. A perspective that they might not receive from the, often skewed, mainstream English language media. "If we are going to affect how the world perceives Israel in the news, we need to provide them with an alternative, true narrative about Israel. That is ILTV’s goal” says Dolgin.

In addition to the ISRAEL DAILY newscast hosted by Natasha Kirtchuk, METV will also air other ILTV programs. The programs include: ‘One on One with Alan Dershowitz;’ ‘Israeli Weekly - Inside the Issues’ hosted by Steve Leibowitz; ‘Cruising Israel’ travel show; ‘Flavors of Israel’ cooking show; ‘Israel in Style’ fashion show.

ILTV manager Ronen Lefler expressed great excitement at the development. Lefler said: “This opens up the massive local TV market for ILTV. Until now local viewers could only view ILTV via internet but now they can watch on local TV.” Lefler went on to say: “There are an estimated 250,000 native English speakers in Israel, and ILTV is confident that a sizable local audience will tune in nightly because they prefer to watch the news in English and they can now do so more conveniently.”

ILTV began broadcasting on internet in December, 2015. The newscasts, programing and segments are now carried on a range of cable, satellite and internet media that includes METV, ITN, JBS, IBN, TBN, JLTV, IFCJ, BLAZE, EL Al trans-Atlantic flights, ISRAELNATIONALNEWS.COM, VIRTUAL JERUSALEM.COM, JANGLO.COM, JEWISHWORLDREVIEW.COM, THE JEWISHVOICE.ORG and in the coming days on TIMESOFISRAEL.COM.

METV is a Christian-based satellite network located in Limassol, Cyprus. Programming includes a mixture of Christian religious shows, plus American entertainment programs and NFL football. Their programming is broadcast on the Israeli Amos 2 satellite. Its signal is received in the entire Middle East. METV was founded as HOPE TV by American-Christian supporters of a Free Lebanon in 1982. They moved to Cyprus following the Israeli military withdrawal in 2000 and it was obtained by the Christian Broadcasting Network. METV was sold to the LeSea Broadcasting Network in 2001.
