The Treasury Ministry published today its findings on wages, which included details regarding the individuals that claim the greatest incomes, and public bodies with employees that routinely see significant wage increases.

As with most years, almost all of the highest wage-earners were doctors, including heads of hospital departments.

The first senior official on the list who is not a doctor is the head of the aeronautical industry, whose wage stands at 94 thousand shekels. Among other senior officials mentioned in the report were CEOs of security-industry companies, university presidents, a flight supervisor earning 69 thousand shekels, and a pilot in the flight industry earning 68 thousand shekels.

Among public bodies hiring employees with exceptional routine wage increases, universities were high on the list. The list included many of the top Israeli universities, with Tel Aviv leading the pack with 42 exceptional wage increases for individuals employed by the university.
