Arab residents of villages neighboring Amona filed a complaint with the civil administration over the defining of plots neighboring Amona as "abandoned property" - in order to prevent the transfer of those plots to Jews.

By declaring their opposition, the Arab residents make it more difficult for Attorney General Avichai Mandelbilt to advance the so-called "abandoned property" solution whereby the houses of Amona residents would be relocated to nearby plots .abandoned by Arab owners.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the community of Amona is to be demolished by the end of 2016 on grounds that it sits illegally on Arab property.

The Save Amona organization said in response that "We're talking about false claims funded and encouraged by the Palestinian Authority in cooperation with extreme left-wing groups and the European Union, and all these groups want just one thing – to prevent Jews from living in Judea and Samaria.

"To this end, they take advantage of the Israeli judicial system as much as they can, and, as a byproduct, potentially gain the chance of toppling a nationalist government," the spokesman said.

According to Amona residents, the law needs to be "regulated" - that is, solutions for existing communities must be found - in order to prevent the uprooting of Amona residents and residents of other Judea and Samaria communities in the future altogether. "After Supreme Court rulings against Netiv Ha'avot, houses in Ofra, Amona and thousands of other houses and families in danger of destruction and expulsion, it is clear that only the "Regulation Law" will stop the evil exploitation of the Israeli legal system to fulfill the national aspirations of expelling Israel from Judea and Samaria and destroying communities," they said.

"The responsibility for the future of Amona lies in the hands of Prime Minister Netanyahu, Minister of Justice Ayelet Shaked, and Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman. The public that voted for the nationalist camp will measure them only according to the results they bring."

Amona residents sent a clear message to the Prime Minister: "If the Regulation Law isn't enacted in the next Knesset hearing, we will turn to an uncompromising struggle that will be the voice of all the residents of Judea and Samaria and will express the protest of all the right-wing voters."
