The death toll from the suicide bombing in a wedding hall in the Turkish city of Gaziantep last night (Saturday) has risen to 50.

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the terror attack was most probably perpetrated by ISIS, though the group has not yet claimed responsibility.

Erdogan further said that ISIS is "no different" from the religious organization headed by exiled cleric Fethullah Gulen, whom Turkey is trying to extradite from the US on suspicion of having orchestrated last month's failed coup against Erdogan.

Earlier reports had suggested the PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) may have carried out the attack.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the bombing is still ongoing.
