The seven people who were injured in Tuesday’s accident in the north were soldiers who were in the midst of a security operation, it has been cleared for publication.

One of the soldiers is in serious condition, four suffered moderate injuries and two were lightly injured. They were evacuated for treatment at the Ziv Hospital in Tzfat and the Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

The Ziv Hospital said that the hospital had received four victims, among them two in light condition and two in moderate condition.

The accident occurred in the Har Dov area, while the soldiers were engaged in an engineering-related operation.

An initial examination of the circumstances of the accident found that an APC hit the back of a bulldozer. The exact cause of the crash is not yet known.
