Egypt's military claims it has killed Abu Duaa al-Ansari, the reported leader of ISIS in Sinai, during air strikes near the town of Arish.

In a post on Facebook, Egypt added that the strikes had also killed 45 other ISIS fighters, and destroyed arms and ammunition caches.

There was no immediate confirmation from "Sinai Province," ISIS' offshoot in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.

This is a developing story.
