Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump may yet visit Israel before the election, he indicated on Wednesday.

Speaking at a news conference in Florida and quoted by JTA, Trump responded to a reporter who asked whether he was going to Israel and noted that nominees traditionally take foreign tours between their nomination and the election.

“It’s a tradition, but I’m not traditional,” said Trump, before adding, “I don’t know, I haven’t set my schedule.”

He said he had support from Israel and “I back Israel 100 percent.”

Trump added that “[President] Obama, in my opinion, is the single worst thing politically that could happen to Israel.”

Last month it was reported that the billionaire was considering visiting Israel before the Republican National Convention which took place last week in Cleveland, though that trip ultimately did not take place.

Trump canceled one trip to Israel in December after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu publicly scolded him for his proposed temporary ban on Muslims coming to the U.S. Since that tiff, however, Trump has indicated several times that he planned to go to Israel.

In May, he once again sounded hesitant about a visit to Israel, saying that such a visit would not be a good idea “at this moment.”

“I don’t think it registers with the voters to be honest with you. What I really want to do is focus on our country and the election, but I might. I’ve been invited by numerous countries to go,” he added at the time.
