Prosecutors have filed charges against 46-year-old Sason Tuina for threatening a judge.

In March 2015, Tuina was found guilty of threats, possessing a knife and behavior that could threaten public safety. In July 2016, Judge Ido Druyan sentenced him to three months in prison plus probation.

Tuina quickly filed an appeal against the sentence, in which he admitted that approached various private investigators in order to get the judge "at point blank range. You see, there are smart people outside of the court because there is heavy and close security inside of it." He reportedly tried to find out where the judge lives, the model and color of his car, and his license plate number.

When Tuina was asked why he "needs Ido Druyan," he answered: "The judge convicted me. I want to show him that it's not over until it's over... If I tell the Abutbul or Halperon crime families current information about Ido Druyan, Ido won't only be taken out on the spot by the crime family, but I'll also get money from them. I just have to bring precise information about it... I won't have a problem like Ido Druyan. I considered whether it's possible to get a gun while the police bureaucracy floats around. I ask you to dismiss the verdict."

Tuina added that "I don't know the meaning of the words 'no' and 'can't.' I also want to say that after three months it's possible to find people and fix accounts. Furthermore, the moment that Ido Druyan convicts me, he will automatically endanger himself and those around him.

The appeal was sent to the judge as part of the automatic process.

In light of the latest charges, prosecutors have asked that Tuina remain in custody until the end of the judicial proceeding.
