A new report put out by the German domestic intelligence agency indicates a significant increase in the number of Hamas and Hezbollah members living within Germany's borders.

Germany's domestic intelligence agency, the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), put out its annual report last week, in which it indicated that there are 300 Hamas and 950 Hezbollah members living in Germany, Legal Insurrection reports. This indicates a large international base that helps comprise the numbers of these Middle Eastern terror organizations.

“The supporters of Islamist-terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, whose aim is to destroy the Jewish state of Israel, are focused on their region of origin [Middle East] and primarily conducts acts of terrorist violence there,” the report stated, according to Legal Insurrection.

In addition, the report indicated that 8,350 Salafists, radical Islamists that believe in waging global Jihad, and 1,000 Muslim Brotherhood members function inside Germany. As for supporters of ISIS, the report stated that until December 2015, 800 German national had traveled to Iraq or Syria with the intention of joining ISIS in those areas, The Algemeiner reported.

The 950 Hezbollah members in Germany this year shows a drastic increase from the 360 Hezbllah supporters indicated by the annual German intelligence report in 2015.
